art of the garden group show

March 2022, Michael Reid Murrunundi & Country Style Magazine.

In March 2022, I was included in the group exhibition Art of the Garden. A joint undertaking of Michael Reid Murrunundi and Country Style Magazine.

Despite loving gardens of any type, I am particularly drawn to those that hero the addictive beauty of Australian natives.

Inspired by the sculptural nature of our local flora, I’ve attempted to create a collection of vessels that stand in quiet contemplation, where the individual characteristics of each flower and stem can be appreciated in full.

The Hidden Pathways series was created to hold single stems of kangaroo paw, banksias and flannel flowers but these vessels are equally at home displaying a sprig of gum leaves, some dried seed pods or even native grasses.

You can still purchase a few of these vessels at Michael Reid CLAY
